Boredom at Work

I admit it, I lied to my boss this week when he asked how the project was going. I told him everything was on track and moving smoothly when, in reality, we’re barely making progress. The truth is, this task has become so monotonous that even a cat would find it boring. So, I spun a little tale to keep the peace and maybe buy us some more time. Don’t worry though; I plan to make up for lost time soon, but until then, let’s just call it a strategic fib.
