That One Time I Made a Huge Mistake at Work

So yeah, there was this time when I thought my day couldn't get any worse and then it did. You know those days where everything goes south? Well, add in the fact that it was raining cats and dogs outside, and the line to order coffee was about five miles long, with people getting more irritable by the second. So there I am, trying not to trip over my own feet as I rush around filling orders like a caffeinated robot, when suddenly, chaos ensues. Someone ordered three large lattes and four espressos, but in my haze of barista duties, I accidentally made two decaf and one regular latte instead. Can you imagine the horror on their face? They didn't even get mad though; they just stared at me as if to say, 'Is this person high or something?' It was like that moment from The Office when Dwight gets everyone's names mixed up but worse, because it involved coffee and sleep deprivation. So yeah, let’s just say the rest of my shift was a blur until I could finally clock out, grab some real coffee to sober up (because apparently decaf doesn’t count), and go home.
