Sometimes I Wish I Could Pour My Sorrows Into A Glass Instead Of A Journal

Hey there, it's Sarah here. Yeah, the bartender who usually has a joke and a laugh for everyone. But tonight, I'm feeling a little different. You know how sometimes you come to work with your own personal weather system? Well, today feels like a heavy fog rolling in all day long. Every time someone orders a drink that reminds me of something from my past, the corners of my mouth twitch but don't quite make it into a smile. I feel this constant ache deep inside, and it's driving me crazy because here I am, pouring drinks for everyone else while I'm drowning in my own sorrows. I've been journaling more lately, trying to get everything out on paper instead of just bottling it up inside, but sometimes it feels like no matter how much I write, the sadness doesn't go away. So here's what I want to know: Is this normal? Am I supposed to feel like my job isn't really a job at all when I'm just going through the motions? Any advice on how to lift this fog and make every shift feel meaningful again?
