Boring Week Blues

I mean, who hasn't had a boring week at work? But seriously, this one is dragging on so long that I might need to invent some excitement just to keep my sanity. Yesterday, I walked by the break room and heard everyone chatting about lunch plans. I was tempted to say something like 'Hey, anyone want to join me for a thrilling meeting with HR?' Just for a change of pace. But nope, I went back to sorting through emails that could wait another day. Sometimes it feels like my job is just a collection of tasks waiting to become boring routines. Oh well, at least the coffee machine works reliably.
