I Broke My Sister's Favorite Book

Last weekend, while my sister was away at a friend’s house, I got really bored and decided to raid her room for entertainment. Her favorite book, which she’s always going on about how special it is because some author signed it, was sitting out in plain sight. It looked harmless enough, but when I tried turning the pages, they started falling apart. I panicked and quickly stuffed it back where I found it. She hasn’t noticed yet, but now every time I see her reading something else or talking about that book, I feel like I’m going to get caught any minute.
