Today's Special is NOT Chicken Nuggets

So you know how kids always want chicken nuggets for dinner? And you know how there’s nothing in the freezer and it’s too late to order from anywhere because they close early here on Sundays? Yeah, so I told my 6-year-old twins that we had a special treat of frozen homemade chicken nuggets. You know, those healthy ones with whole wheat breadcrumbs and no added sugar or preservatives? Well... turns out we have the regular ones in our freezer right now, but they’re not 'homemade,' are they? I’m kind of guilty about it, honestly. Plus, now I feel like a liar and a culinary fraud all at once. I mean, who has homemade chicken nuggets on hand anyway? Oh well, it’s just one night... right?
