I Spoke Too Soon About Screen Time Limits

So there I was, all puffed up like a proud parent about how strict we are with our kids and their screen time. It's 30 minutes tops, no exceptions. But you know what? The other day, my little one was feeling under the weather, sniffling and sneezing her way through the weekend. I found myself caving in pretty quick to a plea for more YouTube Kids because she had a cold. So there I am, tucking her into bed with an extra 15 minutes just to keep her quiet while I got some work done. It felt good at the time but now here I am, thinking about it and wondering if I should have stuck to my guns. Maybe next week we can start fresh and follow the rules better? Ugh, parenting isn't easy.
