The Loneliness of the Classroom Heroine
Anonymous Tipsy Fox #176 · General
I've always been that teacher who puts in extra hours, decorates the classroom with care, and tries to connect with every student. But today, as I looked around my nearly empty classroom during lunch, it hit me hard how little these kids really appreciate all the effort I put in. They rush through class assignments like chores and barely engage beyond the minimum required. It's lonely up here on this pedestal of dedication when no one sees the value in what you do. Maybe it's time to rethink this whole gig.
