I Fessed Up to My Lie About the Garden Gnomes

Well, I’ve been feeling a bit rebellious lately. Last week, when my neighbor complained about someone moving her garden gnomes around at night, and she was convinced it was some kind of juvenile prankster or naughty teenager from the neighborhood, I couldn’t help but chuckle to myself. Because guess who actually moved them? Yep, it was me! Turns out, I’ve been redecorating my yard in secret for a while now, swapping out gnomes and flowers between our yards to keep things interesting. I thought she’d never figure it out, I’m pretty sneaky when I put my mind to it. But today, after getting caught red-handed rearranging her blue gnome with a funny hat for the hundredth time, I finally admitted everything. She laughed and said she suspected something was off but couldn’t prove anything. We had quite the chat, and now we’re both planning on adding more gnomes to our collection to mix things up even more! It felt good to come clean, but honestly, I’ll probably still sneak around a bit at night, it’s just too fun not to.
