The Great Prank Gone Wrong

So, I'm a stay-at-home parent to my three-year-old twins, Mia and Theo. They keep me quite busy but also manage to leave time for small hobbies here and there. One of them is playing pranks on the internet, those harmless little jokes people share online that usually involve tricking someone into believing something funny or weird. The other day, I saw a prank idea where you put glow-in-the-dark stars inside an empty glass bottle, then seal it shut so it looks like there's water in the bottle. When someone shakes it, they think it's glowing liquid but it's just the stars moving around inside. Pretty simple and cute! I thought it would be amusing to prank my brother Jake with this. We haven't seen each other for a while since I live far from him now, so I figured sending him an odd little gift might make us both laugh. I went out and bought everything needed for the prank. But when I was sealing up the bottle, one of Mia's toys fell on it and shattered the glass! Now there are pieces everywhere. My initial plan failed miserably. Not only did my fun prank idea end in a shattering disaster, but now there’s cleanup to do with tiny, sharp bits of glass mixed into our carpet fibers. Oh well, better luck next time I guess? At least it's a good story to tell him about my attempt at being the coolest aunt around and how it ended up as an epic fail. And hey, maybe this way he'll laugh even harder since it’ll be an inside joke on how I'm not all that great at pranks after all!
