The Lie About My Study Habits

I told my roommate that I spent all night studying for the big exam tomorrow. Truth is, I just stayed up late watching old episodes of Friends and eating ice cream. Now I have to cram in everything tonight. I feel bad lying about it, but also guilty because there's no way I'll remember half the stuff we went over last week. Maybe if they hadn't cancelled my favorite show for a month, this wouldn't be an issue. Why is everyone so serious about studying all the time? It feels like nobody gets to have fun anymore.
