another night another drinker

so last night this one guy walks into the bar at like 2am after closing time and he's drunk as a skunk but thinks he's smooth talking some hot stuff. i mean come on, it was clear to everyone except him that he reeked of booze and desperation. still, he tried hitting on every girl in there, including my friend who's dating this other guy now and totally not into anyone else. anyway, i had to intervene cause it was getting awkward for the rest of us just watching him make an ass of himself. after kicking him out, there was a moment of silence before everyone burst out laughing at how pathetic he looked trying to charm his way back in. guess that's what happens when you drink too much and lose all your filters, sometimes it's better to go home early and avoid the whole mess.
