My Blunder at Work

So, I started my first job as an assistant in a busy office last week. It's pretty intense, lots of meetings and emails, all kinds of stuff flying around me like crazy bees. But yesterday, things got really bad. During a big presentation for the team leader, I accidentally sent out an email to everyone that was supposed to go only to HR. And it wasn't just any old email, it contained some sensitive information about sick leave policies and personal days. I don’t know how long I stood there staring at my phone screen before anyone noticed what happened. My boss didn’t look happy, let me tell you. She pulled me aside right away to fix the mistake, but I couldn’t help feeling so stupid. It’s embarrassing because it's one of those moments where everyone is thinking ‘why can't this person just pay attention?’ and I know they are. I feel like everyone must think I’m incompetent or that I don’t take my job seriously now. But hey, it was a rookie mistake, right? Can we all agree to forget about it if I promise not to make another blunder for at least three months?
