I'm a Bartender

Every night at around 2 AM, I see the same customer stumbling in, let's call him Tom. He’s usually drunk off his feet and has this routine where he orders three shots of tequila, downs them one after another without blinking an eye, then sits quietly for about half an hour before leaving as abruptly as he came in. It's a strange ritual that seems to provide some kind of release or comfort for him, but it also makes me wonder if there’s something more going on behind the scenes. Is this normal behavior? Should I say anything to Tom?
