The Spill That Saved Me

Tonight at work, I accidentally knocked over a tray of glasses right before closing. My hands were shaking with nerves after getting the biggest tip ever from this super cute regular who's been hitting on me for weeks. And somehow in that moment of clumsiness, I felt like everything slowed down and I could breathe again. Maybe it was just the shock of my heart rate going back to normal after all those butterflies, but whatever it is, I'm not mad about how things went down tonight.
