Caught in a Lie

So here’s something I’m kinda embarrassed about, I lied to my roommate about having a meal plan at this fancy new dining hall. You know how they have that special steakhouse section with the unlimited desserts? Well, yeah, turns out I don’t actually get to eat there all the time like everyone else does. So one day when we were walking past and she asked if I wanted some dessert, I just nodded my head too fast without thinking. Now every single day at lunchtime, there’s this nagging voice in my head wondering if I’m going to get caught. It's silly, right? But it feels like a big deal to me.
