Refused to Help With Groceries

Mom asked me to help with groceries today. She said she was tired. Instead of helping, I played video games all day long. Grocery shopping is boring compared to the thrill of gaming. Mom ended up buying more than usual because the stores were closed early when we went out late morning. Anyway, I just wanted to say it felt good not to help but now that I think about it, maybe helping with chores is better for everyone’s sanity... or am I still okay with my choices?
