So Not Okay With My Job

Ever since the big layoff, I've been sitting at my desk like a dummy. Every day, staring at emails for hours but doing squat. Then comes this project that's supposed to be a 'team effort', everyone's assigned tasks, except me. Now I'm just playing with Trello and Slack, pretending I’m working. My boss hasn't said a thing, but the look in his eyes says it all: he's waiting for me to fail. Last week, I even pretended to have an allergy so I could avoid that one client meeting. Silly, right? But honestly, who wants to be seen as a ghost on everyone's team list? I've been job searching like crazy but nothing’s panning out. So here I am, still at this dead-end desk, typing 'I'm just having internet issues' instead of doing real work.
