Forgot My Wife's Birthday Again

So here I am, 50 years old, and I've managed to forget my wife’s birthday for the third year in a row. You’d think after all these decades of marriage, I'd remember such an important date! She walked into the kitchen this morning looking disappointed when I asked how her day was going without me saying a word about it. It's not like I didn’t want to celebrate, I just can't keep track anymore! I hope she doesn’t get mad at old man here too much. Maybe flowers or chocolates will smooth things over.
