An Unintentional Sabotage

Today at work, I accidentally dropped a full pot of steaming hot water on the floor right next to where a customer was sitting. I was trying to be extra cautious and not spill anything after last week's mishap, but my hand slipped. The whole place froze in shock for a moment before everyone rushed around to clean up and make sure our customer wasn't burned. To this day, I'm still baffled as to why something like that would happen, was it the slippery floor or just bad luck?
