When My Teenagers Think I'm Not Listening

I’ll admit it, I’m a bit of an amateur spy in my own house. Whenever the kids are talking about something interesting or potentially silly but keep their voices low so I can’t hear, I start getting curious and sneaky like Inspector Clouseau! Last night, they were giggling in hushed tones while making these exaggerated eye movements that said it all, they had a secret. So, as quietly as possible, I tiptoed into the room where my earphones are and put them on (yes, full spy mode). To my dismay, all I heard was music at maximum volume... turns out there were no secrets after all! What’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve tried to overhear your kids or siblings talking about?
