Working from Home Is Lonely Sometimes

So I've been freelancing for a while now, and it's not exactly what I imagined. I mean, the flexibility is amazing, wake up when you want, do laundry in between meetings. But here’s the thing: there’s no one around to talk to. And honestly? It can be really lonely. I have my cat, Muffin, but he doesn’t care if I’m not meeting deadlines or if I just spent three hours scrolling through Twitter instead of working. He just wants his food and cuddles. But you know what? Those aren’t the same as having a colleague ask about your weekend plans. Sometimes, like today, I get so stuck in my head that I start daydreaming about going back to an office job. Just for the interactions, really. The coffee machine guy who always jokes around or the lady from accounting who listens to opera music. Normal stuff people do when they’re not sitting at a desk staring at a screen all day. Anyway, I feel like maybe I’m just being dramatic. Is it normal to feel this way? Or am I missing out on something that’s supposed to be better than this? If you work from home or have ever freelanced before, how do you deal with the loneliness?
