I Told A White Lie To My Grandchild

I told a little fib to my grandkid yesterday. She asked me if Santa was real and I hesitated, wondering what she had heard from her friends at school. Then I decided that believing in the magic of Christmas is worth it for one more year, even if it means telling a tiny lie. Now I feel guilty every time she looks at me with those big, trusting eyes. Will this make any difference when she finds out the truth? I hope she still feels loved.
