Another Day, Another Note

So today in class, I got this super lame note from some kid named Timmy. 'Hey, can you borrow me a pencil?' Yeah, like that's all it takes to get my attention. Of course, I lent him the only sharp one I had because who am I kidding? It's just another day of being everyone's eraser. Next thing I know, he uses it up and leaves without even a 'thanks.' So now I'm out a pencil for the rest of class, but hey, at least my heart isn't broken or anything. Just wishful thinking that maybe someone will slip me a note back asking where their borrowed pencil is. Nope, crickets. Maybe next time I'll stick to helping only if they bring candy... just saying.
