Caught in the Act with Cookies

I snuck into my teens' room late one night to swipe a cookie from their secret stash. They’d told me straight up that it was off-limits, but I just couldn’t resist those chocolate chip ones. Little did they know I had a weakness for sweet treats too. When I heard them coming back in the house, I hid behind the door and hoped they wouldn’t catch me. To my horror, I got caught red-handed as soon as I thought the coast was clear. Now every time I walk by their room, they give me that smug look, but honestly? I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
