Why I've Been Avoiding My Sis This Week

Okay, so here's the deal. My sis and I have always been close-ish but also had our fair share of petty sibling stuff. She's younger by four years, which means she's still in school while I'm trying to establish myself at work. Anyway, last week my sister decided to redecorate her room with all these fun, quirky stickers and posters that look like something out of a teen movie from the early 2000s. She’s obsessed with unicorns, rainbows, and all that good stuff. I mean, it’s cute in its own way but, let's be real, I'm not exactly on board with her design choices for our shared bedroom walls anymore since she doesn't want to pay rent for a separate room (insert eye roll here). Plus, every time we pass by her room, there's this constant reminder of what she thinks is cool, and it just grates on me. So I've been avoiding hanging out at home unless absolutely necessary because the thought of seeing that unicorn wall again gives me hives. Yeah, I know, maybe I'm overreacting or something, but tell me I’m not entitled to my own space from all this sparkle nonsense!
