When I Got Lost in Translation...

So here's the thing: last month when we were planning that trip abroad with my work buddies, I convinced everyone that I knew all about French customs because I read one article on Wikipedia... only to embarrass myself by saying some pretty embarrassing things at dinner. After that, they kind of stopped asking me for advice on anything cultural, which is totally fine... but now when we have a meeting, they always make sure there's someone who speaks the language fluently in case I try to pull another one out of nowhere.
