When I Let My Kids Win at Board Games Too Often

I've been thinking a lot about why I let my kids win at board games almost every time we play. As their parent, it seems important to show them that sometimes life isn't fair and winning doesn't always happen based on skill alone. Yet, there's something in me that struggles with letting them experience losing. Maybe it's the desire to protect them from disappointment or to boost their confidence. But could this be doing more harm than good? What if I'm teaching them an unrealistic view of how life works by always catering to their wins? Should I start losing on purpose, showing them that it's okay not to win every time and helping them learn resilience and the value of trying again despite setbacks? What do you think parents?
