New City Nerves and Curiosities

So I just moved to a new city last week. My apartment feels like an empty echo chamber because it's still so sparse. Every day, I walk around with my face buried in maps on my phone while everyone else seems to know their way perfectly well. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one lost and staring at my screen, which probably makes me look super rude if anyone tries to say hello. Yesterday I ended up accidentally walking into a shop that was closed because I thought it said 'Open.' Total oops. But honestly, there are these moments where the city feels magical. Last night, I found this hidden park that looks like something from a storybook with its tall trees and old stone benches. It’s like my little secret spot. Maybe you’ve felt like this when starting somewhere new? Is it just me or is everyone secretly feeling a bit lost too? How do you usually adjust to a new place?
