Why Does My Lab Partner Hate Me?

So there I was, diligently pouring over my notes for our latest project in biotechnology class. Everything seemed to be going smoothly until my lab partner, Jane, decided to start acting all weird around me. It's not like we're BFFs or anything, but she suddenly went from barely acknowledging my existence to actively avoiding eye contact and whispering with other classmates about me. Now, I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything wrong, like spill her chemicals or accidentally set fire to the lab (hey, it was a close call once), so what's up? Is there something in my breath that no one has told me about yet? Or maybe she just thinks I smell like too much Purell after all those germ scares we had last semester. Any ideas on how to fix this awkwardness without having to resort to the whole 'open letter to my lab partner' method? What would you do?
