I Made Up My Homework Excuse

So here's the thing, I was supposed to hand in my history homework today, but I totally forgot it at home. Instead of admitting that, though, I told the teacher I left it at a friend's house and asked for an extension. Yeah, I know, it's pretty petty, and now every time I see her face, I feel kinda guilty. But hey, we all have those moments where our pride gets in the way of just being honest, right? Hopefully my history paper will make up for this fib.
