When My Mind Goes Wild in Math Class

So today in math class, Mr. Thompson was going over some super boring equations, and I swear my mind just checked out completely! But instead of daydreaming about the usual stuff, like if I should ask Jake to the movies or how many followers I'll have on TikTok tonight, I started thinking about... wait for it... numbers and patterns! It’s kind of silly because usually math is the last thing that keeps me awake. Is this normal? Should I be worried that my brain randomly starts loving something as dry as algebra? Am I turning into a geek or just having an off day?
