Hey there, folks. It's me, Alex, a night-shift worker at the local hospital. Don't get me wrong, I love helping people in those quiet hours when everything else seems to sleep. But lately, it feels like my life is just one long stretch of night after another. My days are a blur - coffee for breakfast, staring out windows trying not to nap while on duty, and then crashing into bed at lunchtime only to wake up with the sun setting again. Sometimes I think about all the people in my life who have 'normal' jobs. They see daylight when it's supposed to be seen! Their mornings are full of possibility instead of exhaustion. Maybe they even take kids to school, or go for that early morning jog before traffic gets bad. It seems so far away from me now. So here’s what I’m wondering - is this normal?
