I Played a Prank on My Siblings and Got Away With It Forever

So I have this habit of playing pranks every now and then. Today's prank was pretty epic though, if I do say so myself! Let me set the scene for you: it's a Saturday morning in our big house where we all live together, my little sister Emma who's 12, my brother Max who’s 16 (and thinks he owns everything), and me, stuck right in the middle at 14. We’re pretty close, but sometimes sibling rivalry gets the best of us. Anyway, so yesterday evening I had a great idea, what if I switch out all their stuff with similar items that look exactly the same? So I spent hours raiding our parents’ room for duplicate objects and even managed to find some fake toothpaste and shower gel from Target (I am really good at finding duplicates). Then, late last night, when everyone was sleeping, I went into action. Emma’s brush set got switched with a matching one in the medicine cabinet that had been collecting dust since Mom used it once two years ago. Max's favorite water bottle and headphones were replaced by ones just as shiny but empty inside (I filled them with tap water from our faucet). And for me, well, I just wanted to feel normal while they’re going crazy trying to find their stuff. This morning was chaos! Emma wakes up screaming because she can’t find her favorite lip gloss. Max is beside himself when he sees his new but fake headphones. Meanwhile, I’m sitting there looking at my untouched room like a champ. So naturally, the blame game starts and everyone's accusing each other without any proof. My parents are none too pleased when they found out about it but with no hard evidence, they couldn’t prove who did it (I left no fingerprints or anything!). After some time, they just let us figure it out ourselves. And guess what? No one has ever figured out that I was behind it! They still think each other did it and even started a weird family-wide investigation. Looking back at it now, while I feel a bit guilty about the chaos I caused, there’s also this pride of having pulled off something so big. Plus, I got to mess with my siblings’ heads just enough to make our household laugh for days after. It was totally worth it!
