New Kid on Campus Goes Rogue

Just moved to this city and started at a new school. I didn't want anyone thinking I was some shy bookworm, so the first day I skipped class to go skating at the park instead. Met a few cool kids there who had no idea I wasn't supposed to be hanging out with them. We had fun making up stories about what I did in class all morning and why I showed up late. Now that they know it's my choice to hang around, we're actually friends. Guess being 'cool' beats the books every time.
