i was mean to the neighbor's cat

ok so this happened last week and i feel pretty bad about it. i had been having a rough time with all my chores piling up, no one helping out around here and just feeling really alone in taking care of everything. the neighbor's cat started coming into our yard more and being extra loud while meowing right outside the kitchen window where i was trying to get things done. i got frustrated and yelled at it a few times which made it go away but honestly i feel guilty now cause what did that poor kitty do? i should have just ignored or shooed it nicely, not said mean stuff. i dont know how to fix this though, maybe leave cat treats out as an apology? ugh still stressing about it.
