I Broke A Display Item At Work

Yesterday at work, something bizarre happened. I was rearranging the merchandise displays in aisle 5 when I accidentally knocked over a delicate decorative item. It shattered into pieces on the floor. My heart sank as I realized my mistake and how expensive it must be. The manager walked by just then and saw me standing there looking shocked with fragments all around my feet. I'm still kicking myself over this, wondering how to make amends without getting fired.
