Sneaking Free Drinks Isn't Exactly Honorable

So here’s the thing, I’ve been working as a bartender for a few months now at this chill little dive bar downtown. It’s always packed, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve poured myself a free drink or two because...well, let’s be honest, it’s fun! But last night was my limit: a customer spilled their beer all over the floor just as the delivery guy walked in with a case of new brews. It couldn’t have been more obvious when I took one for “testing.” Yeah, I know, it’s a small lie, but still, there’s that little pinch of guilt every time. Maybe next week will be my last? Or maybe not, I mean, who doesn’t love a free pint after a long day?
