Sometimes It Feels Like a Desert Out Here
Anonymous Suspicious Snitch #456 · General
Working from home has its perks, like pajamas all day and no commute, but lately I've been feeling so isolated. My only contact is the occasional email, and even that feels like a text to another planet. There's this weird moment every morning when the coffee kicks in, and instead of tapping away at my laptop, I find myself staring out the window, thinking about how nice it would be to sit across from someone, just chatting over a cup of coffee. It sounds small, but after weeks of solitude, even the little things feel like a luxury. Maybe I need more human interaction than I thought.
