My Lunch Is Always A Secret Weapon At Work

Hey everyone! So my job as a nurse can be pretty intense and stressful. But one of the things that helps me cope is packing a killer lunch, like these adorable bento boxes with tiny sandwiches and pickled veggies. It's not just about the food though, I've started using it as a tactic to get the afternoon off work early when my boss isn't in the mood for more tasks. I sneak into her office at lunchtime and leave this beautifully arranged box, then subtly hint that there might be cookies hidden inside if she gives me an extra break. Has anyone else used food as a secret weapon in their workplace? Do you think my tactic is too obvious or am I a genius?
