...I Feel Forgotten Sometimes...

Ever since my baby sister was born two years ago, I feel like nobody notices me anymore. It's not that they ignore me on purpose...it just feels that way sometimes. My parents are always cooing over her tiny clothes and first words...and my older brother only has eyes for his new girlfriend now. Me? I'm the middle child stuck in between them all, fading into the background like it's never been worth noticing before. ...I know they love me too but honestly sometimes I feel invisible. It makes me sad to think about how easily that can happen...even with people you care about the most.
