My Lunchbox Secret

So I swear my mom packs me the same lunch every single day. Sandwich, chips, juice box, same deal. But last week, she put in this weird apple sandwich instead of a regular one. Like, what is that? Some kind of gourmet stuff for adults? It was so bizarre and not at all kid-friendly. Anyway, I got to school and ditched it under my desk because no way am I eating that thing in front of everyone. But then today I went into the lunchroom and saw someone's brown bag with an apple sandwich sticking out! My heart dropped, I thought maybe they had been talking about me behind my back or something. Turns out, my friend Tom just has a mom who’s weird too.
