My Day Off Isn't For Me

I'm a stay-at-home dad, and I have this weird thing where I take the kids out to do all my errands on my day off. Grocery shopping, pharmacy trips, pet store visits - you name it. My wife has her days too, but when she's out, everything falls on me. Last week, instead of sitting back with a book or binge-watching TV shows, I hit the stores early and got it all done. The kids had fun picking snacks at the grocery store and feeding treats to the doggies at the pet store. By noon, every errand was crossed off my list, and we spent the rest of the day relaxing at home without a care in the world. People might think I'm crazy for using my free time like that, but hey, if it means peace later on, who cares? Plus, seeing their happy faces makes it all worth it.
