I Lied About My Job

So here's this: I once told my friend that I work at a high-paying tech firm. Turns out, all I really do is data entry for $12 an hour. But man, the stories I could come up with! Every time someone asks what I do, I feel like such a fraud. Sometimes it feels good to pretend I'm more important than I am... but mostly, I just feel embarrassed by my own BS. It's not that I hate my job or anything, but lying about it? That's on me and me alone.
