New Hobby: Baking!

So I started baking this week and it's like my brain exploded with joy. First day was a disaster but I learned so much! Today, I made cupcakes and they were actually edible! It feels weird to say this out loud, but the smell of fresh bread in the morning is seriously addicting. Plus, there’s something about measuring ingredients that just quiets my mind. Maybe it's the mixing or kneading dough, or frosting a cake until it's perfect, I don't know, but I think I might have found my new happy place.
