Went Rogue at Work

I know I’m supposed to follow all the rules at my job, but seriously? They’re so strict with everything from coffee breaks to personal emails. So when my boss decided I needed a new computer mouse for productivity reasons, I took it upon myself to get creative and ordered one that’s super shiny and distracting, basically, the exact opposite of what he’d pick. Now everyone can see how bored I am during meetings by watching this flashy thing move around. Am I being immature? Or do we all need a little rebellion every once in a while?
