Why Did I Do This?

I recently signed up for a pottery class on a whim and spent an entire paycheck on supplies. Now, every time I look at my wheel or glaze set, I feel a mix of excitement and dread. Why did I think this was a good idea? Sure, it looked fun online, but now that I'm here, I realize how much skill goes into making something truly beautiful. Plus, I keep looking at the clock during class, thinking about all the other things on my to-do list. Yet part of me wonders if I'm just being lazy and need to push through the initial awkwardness.
