I Fed the Office Cat to My Coworker's Plants

So, I started this new job at the accounting firm last month. Everything seemed normal until someone brought a little cat into work and left it in the office kitchen area one day. The boss didn't seem to mind, so I thought maybe it was allowed there? Turns out, the cat had just gotten lost or something and wasn’t supposed to be hanging around. Well, I don't really like cats much, plus they were eating all our food and making a mess. So one night after everyone left, I took the cat (who wouldn't stop meowing) down to the basement where we keep plants and office supplies and... well, let's just say that little kitty didn’t last long around my coworker’s leafy friends. The next morning at work, I heard everyone talking about how the stray had disappeared. Of course, nobody suspected me since there was no real proof, but now every time someone mentions feeding the plants or bringing in a new kitten to cheer us up, I get really nervous and avoid eye contact with my coworkers. Hope they never figure it out! 🐱
