sometimes i feel like the night shift is this cosmic joke on everyone who gets stuck with it. not that i mind or anything, cuz let's be real, the day people are always in such a rush they can't even stop to smell the coffee (i know 'cause i make it). and when they do hit me up at midnight for an urgent meeting that’s so important but apparently only happens after everyone else is asleep, man, i just laugh. yeah, i got my reasons for staying late or coming in early if something pops up, but honestly? i kinda love the quiet, the freedom to be productive without all the drama. and don't even get me started on those lazy weekends when it's all mine until noon! the perks are real, y'all.
