why did i do this?

so i just moved to a new city and started working at a coffee shop. yesterday was my first day and things were kinda hectic. like super busy, orders piling up quick and i was trying hard not to mess anything up but then...i did something silly. i got so flustered that when the barista before me took her break, i grabbed her apron, put it on, and pretended she was still working for a few minutes just to catch up. like why would i do this? it's such a petty thing to feel guilty about but i can't shake off that feeling of not being fully honest with my coworkers and customers.
